American Pie reintroduced the wonders of this genre to a new generation, but their impact is not nearly as strong since every kid today has access to images and videos at their fingertips that blow out of the water yesteryear's furtive looks at your older brother's playboy mags or the rare Rated R movie you could sneak into.

My reasoning - one of the greatest shower scenes of all time and a costar in Betsy Russell who made the incredibly gorgeous Phoebe Cates (also in the movie) look somewhat ordinary.
