I think we (including me) all have to step back from the ledge and be thankful for what we have. Does anyone remember our circumstances a few years ago when the $hit hit the fan, Joe passed away and the Rod was making speeches about how bad our culture was and that he therefore wanted to de-emphasize football. We had many discussions on this board about the extent our "leadership" would allow us to have a football team and who these clowns would pick as our next coach. I remember discussions and rumors about the possibility of a professor from a respected institution being named as our next coach. We didn't know what sort of football team they'd allow us to have and whether this team, with much reduced talent, would be able to continue playing in the B10. Well, none of that came to pass. The Rod apparently didn't get his way, and the predictions of at least 10 years of losing seasons also didn't come to pass--in fact, NO losing seasons. Along with a top notch coach and staff and one good recruiting class after another and even bowl games thrown in for good measure. I think we have a lot to be thankful for.
