Abdul Carter

One of the gutsiest and greatest performances I’ve ever seen from a Penn state player. Thank you and kill it in the nfl
Hats off to the kid. Twice the guts that Parsons ever had. Shame we could not close out the game…he deserved better.

Certainly these kids must realize by now that CJF can not win a big game. I hope Carter was not surprised.

Amazingly gutsy performance. He was disruptive with one arm! Imagine if he was fully healthy.

I think he would have recovered the strip sack at the end of the 1st half if he were fully healthy. It seemed like he wasn't able to dive onto the ball with both arms due to his injury. It's hard to wrestle the ball from an O-lineman with one arm!

At least in the NFL they seem to call holding more so hopefully that helps him going forward - it looked like a Big 10 crew out there calling no holding on him all game.
Well, you can't say that the referees were not consistent re holding calls against 11.

It does make one wonder when college football legalized an old WWF 'rasslin' move - the lariat(?)

I wonder how much more extreme that clothes line move needs to be before the refs would consider it a penalty?

So, we have anyone that's going to be rocking stix next season?
They've talked true Freshman Max Granville (DE) up alot lately. CJF indicated he has alot of the same abilities as Abdul Carter. We shall see.
Perhaps if King or DDS return they are possibilities.

Playing basically with one hand tied behind his back!
He could only use an outside rush move or bull rush as he couldn't use the left arm at all and they still had trouble stopping him. He's actually better from the right side and couldn't play there. That's also where ND had new guy he could've exploited if he had a left arm to use.

Carter will go off draft boards in top 5 if not even higher as QB s are nothing special this year. Anyone drafting any of the so-called top 4 QB's will be drafting another one in 2 years. Probably Jets, Giants, Browns & Raiders if history holds.

Gutsy and fabulous performance by Carter. Legendary. Damn shame the program left him out to dry - losing a game like that.

Parsons- take note of what a true warrior looks like.

I really don't know what's up with the Big Ten and not calling holding this year.

Carter is held all the time. Has happened all year. Edge rushers in this league are getting mugged........officials definitely favoring the OL.

Saw a stat that Ohio State's DL hasn't gotten a single holding call in their favor all season. And that's a nasty DL.

Just crazy.

You need to talk to Myles Garrett about that. Watching Carter get constantly mugged and held reminds me watching Garrett play. Nothing is ever called. Same could happen to Carter in the NFL.

Yeppers playing with one arm is extremely impressive. But doing so while switching sides is Superman level.

Playing the opposite side means he had to learn how to use his right arm to make various moves. Use his feet differently. Twist differently,

And for human players they have to practice repetitively long enough that it becomes instinctive. If you have to think about what you are doing it slows you down.

Just an outstanding performance!
