In a NFL football related note, my Steelers were at 9 so I placed a $50.00 wager that they would win 9 games or more this season.

I was thinking the OVER, given their schedule :)
This can be a pretty good year !!!!!

Not that I expect us to win the B1G, but we're a decent "value play" at 23-1:

(1) I think we're clearly the 3rd best team in the division talent-wise (not buying the U-M hype).

(2) We have a more favorable cross-division draw than the two teams better than us in talent (MSU has a tough one at Nebraska, OSU's Western foes aren't murderous but Minnesota is better than either Illinois or Northwestern).

(3) Michigan is 4th-best talent-wise in the division (IMO) --- but they're still potentially dangerous. MSU and OSU get them on the road, maybe they trip up there.

(4) Maryland's not a "true" road game. Thanks Turtles! We really only have 3 "true" road OOC games, which is an advantage.

Anyway, what I'm trying to argue, there are opportunities for us to perhaps win the division even at 6-2 or 7-1. We would need to steal at least one of the OSU or MSU games though.
