Adam Busiello at New York States Thread

Adam is the #1 seed @ 126 lbs. at the 2018 NYSPHSAA State Wrestling Championships. He wrestles in Div. 1 (large school), as NY has two divisions in wrestling.

NY States takes place on Friday and Saturday (2/23 and 2/24). I'll try to keep this thread updated, but would be happy if others posted updates over the course of the tournament.

Adam will take on Anthony Corigliano (Clarence) in R1.

Having had sooooo many pictures taken of me, I never ask for pictures with other athletes and stars.....until last weekend when I had to get a picture with McZiggy. He was rather amused to hear he had a fan base on the Penn state wrestling board. Lol.

In R2 (quarters) he'll face Connor Llewellyn (Chaminade-C).

From what I’ve seen, people are all over the place when trying to project his weight. I love how he wrestles and love that he’s been a lifelong PSU fan. Weird though, he kinda reminds me of Iowa’s Cory Clark.

Agree 100% about loving how he wrestles. He certainly has some things to work on, but to me he will be in the perfect room for the skill set and mindset he brings to the table. Underrated recruit, well at least in regards to fanfare, probably because he committed so long ago.

Maybe AB can make 125 for a year? Maybe RBY,GT, or Nick Lee Take an Olympic redshirt? Maybe Nick Lee uses his regular redshirt at some point? There is also the elephant in the room of season ending injuries- odds are one of these young men will need some healing time along the way. I once thought Teske would be the odd man out, but I don't think that anymore.

The lower weights are going to be interesting, and amazing going forward. It's going to be fun to watch. Don't discount Cael bringing in another lower weight stud after AB, though.
