Add about a dozen felonies to Hillary's email server felonies -- Amazingly brazen lies to the FBI when questioned about emails.

18 US Code § 1001 makes it a felony to lie to the FBI. Just stumbled on a partial summary of her lies, which would commonly be called perjury.

Didn't bother to count them up, but here they are:

"We know that Secretary Clinton actually told the FBI that it did not occur to her that she should keep secret “deliberations over a future drone strike.” She did not think, she says, that she should keep confidential information about whom the United States would target in the future.

She had no idea, she said, that that a “C” on a document had anything to do with the status of that document. She said she did not know that “C” stands for classified or confidential. She claimed that the “C” must have stood for some alphabetical ranking in the email. She was remarkably uninterested why, in the purported alphabetizing of the documents that were labeled “C,” she never saw any “alphabetized” list that included A, B, or D documents. She told the FBI that did not know the difference between the government’s classifications of Top Secret, Secret, and Confidential.

We now know that she saw many “C” documents, in addition to the SCI documents. Julian Assange, head of WikiLeaks, said that WikiLeaks has already released thousands of cables showing Clinton’s signature with (C) next to it.

She told the FBI agents that she could not name a single example of how a document becomes classified. She also told the FBI agents she could not remember ever receiving training on how to handle classified material even though she personally signed a form acknowledging her training. She could not remember when she received her security clearance, or what that meant."https://verdict.justia.com/2017/02/...t-information-secretary-state-rest-government

The whole “C” thing with Hillary bordered on hilarious. She had spent 8 years as First Lady and 4 years as Secretary of State. She had read tens of thousands of classified documents but still didn’t know what C meant? Her denials show how brazen and ballsy she is.

Even worse to me is that she claims it never occurred to her that plans for drone strikes were to be kept secret.

I know people say the Clinton's are above the law, but when Trump was prez and we found out Clinton was behind creation of the fake dossier, couldn't Trump have had her arrested? I know the FBI and people in the DOJ were against Trump but doesn't he as prez have the power to make them arrest Clinton, especially if there was all this proof that came out?

Technically DOJ is supposed to be independent of the president even though he can hire and fire the AG. Typically however the AG is the president's wingman like Eric Holder was to Obama.

Trump was unfortunate that he had no loyalty in the DOJ. Rosenstein may or may not have plotted to declare Trump unfit and removed, but he certainly didn't take direction from him. Rosenstein seemed to run Justice even though he was only the assistant.

In my opinion, it was best not to prosecute Hillary because of the politics. Just like I believe it is stupid for the DOJ to prosecute Trump over documents. The political temperature is just too hot. It creates a bad precedent.

No, he couldn’t. He was a President, not a dictator, as the left would like everyone to believe.

I get the reason for the topic but this should be old news. Of course we shouldn’t have our new news , so yeah.

Sort of complicated and not complicated question. Trump as President was boss of AG. Could tell AG to prosecute and if no prosecution could fire AG and try to get a new one to prosecute.

His problem was and is, he is a terrible, terrible client for a lawyer to have. He has no loyalty and will let his lawyers hang out to dry in a second to get a momentary advantage for himself. Any lawyer who would prosecute Clinton would realize he was subjecting himself to huge personal and professional risks. A big part of the issue is that there would be no one willing to do that.

Also, his first AG, Sessions, didn't follow Trump's policies and for instance, appointed a special prosecutor knowing that Trump wouldn't approve.

Additionally, at that time, there was the feeling that prosecuting Clinton would be politically divisive, which was a reasonable position at that time. Not reasonable now because the Left is waging war on the right by looking in every nook and cranny to find an excuse to file criminal charges and abuse those aligned with Trump. (See Navarro arrest for example)

All good points but misses the biggest and baddest reason why she wasn’t prosecuted.....DC is a dem party hell hole. Anyone that went after her would never work in DC again. And they would have faced severe persecution and possible prosecution for any and every transgression they ever did or even thought about.

The AG knew this. All of the DOJ assistants and lawyers knew this. Witnesses knew this.

And this is the message of going after Trump. Tell the world....”This is our game and our playing field. Screw with our game and you, your family, associates, and businesses will all be destroyed”

Funny how she has never been charged with anything. Can't be a felon without the charges.

Well, she is a woman with no "C" and Democrats in general don't know the difference between a "C" and a "D" or between a man and a woman.

So if you commit a murder and are not discovered., you are not a murderer or a, felon? Clinton is a, felon, just not one who was prosecuted or convicted. On a smaller scale all speeders are misdemeanor criminals. Those not prosecuted are unconvicted misdemeanants but stiill guilty.
