There are a number of the old Paterno guard (donors, alumni, former players, etc.) that want Franklin out. It's a shame because you can't relive the past and he should be given at least 4 or 5 years to right the ship. Not saying there isn't some problems or discord but I fear our impatient, unrealistic and overly nostalgic fan base could eventually do over the long term what the sanctions couldn't.
