I feel like some people get it and some are a bit lost. Yes I sound a bit opinionated right now.

Here's the deal. Did the players leave some plays on the field? Yes. Do they try to win? Yes. Are they young? Yes. Therefore I do not blame the players.

The coaches. Do they get some unfair criticism? Yes. Have they inherited a patchwork team? Yes. Have they exceeded some peoples forecast of what our record we be to date? Yes.

BUT FOR THE LIFE OF ME, I cannot explain how coaches at this level totally screw up the time management at the end of the game. Why on earth would any football mind not start calling timeouts with a minute plus left? And then once you've decided not to use them, we actually start using them with 19 seconds left? Does the horrible clock management have anything to do with sanctions? NO. Can't remember seeing anything like it. Honestly, it's the only major mistake our coaches made yesterday, but I can't remember seeing an obvious mismanagement like this in a long time.

This is why I am not optimistic going forward. I cannot explain away this garbage coaching maneuver yesterday.
