Before the weekend we were spoiled... and after the weekend, with the subtle insertion of another non stop motor & bonus point fiend in Nick Lee & Shakur Rasheed's bonus pt potentional... we're getting "extra" spoiled. Check out the $500 cost of some of the tickets for the Ohio State match on Stub Hub. Some of us are getting a tad... too spoiled & shall I say greedy... Though the bonus point talent on Penn State's roster... sure is worth any admission on any given day.

I can't wait for the Iowa and Ohio State matches. I think Nick Lee, Cenzo and Shakur Rasheed are trending way up and the usual hammers will bring sledge hammers for those matches. The three wrestlers who extremely impressed in the TomTan Dual were Spencer Lee, Myles Martin & of course... All World. Spencer... what a ride on Little Bo. And Myles has upped his game... but gassed in the 3rd... yet again. Bo will be Bo and I hope will out wrestle without having to go big in that match. That said... I hope he goes BIG on Myles and indirectly... on his dad. Other than that... I see both matches going as planned. Cenzo will take that Bull and tame him and I hope Mark watches the tape of Bo vs. CY and sees more scoring opportunities in the 2nd go around with Big Nathan. Shakur could be the wild card in the OSU match and I hope Nick Nevills has regained his old form with a win against a higher ranked wrestler this weekend. He'll need that extra boost when facing Kyle Snyder. He needs to forget who he is and wrestle to his own talent level. Nick needed a confidence boost going into these two big heavyweight matches. I hope he's able to wrestle Sam Stoll & improve his ranking & future seeding.

While I agree that PSU had a great weekend.....I know I saw Nick Lee give up at least one takedown and at least one reversal against Maryland. I think both Keener and Nevills raised their seeds this weekend and Lee and Shak increased their RPI a bit....so definite pluses for the weekend.

Ummm... the guy Nick Lee was wrestling was a National qualifier last year (who upset only 3 higher ranked guys at the B1G Ten's last year) and Nick Lee went out and majored him in his 4th dual in his wrestling career. I'll take that result, and be ecstatic when Nationals start and I know Nick Lee is Penn State's starting 141 lber.

That schlub at UM who took Lee down (nice mixer, but lee was too strong to go over) also has a W over Jason Nolf to his name. Granted, it wouldn't go that way now, but still, something for his personal scrapbook, to be sure....

Ummm.....I didn't disagree with anything you said. I know who Ryan Diehl is. I posted a preview of the weekend matches on Thursday and said the following about Lee:

#2: Nick Lee. He had a great weekend last week but will get his toughest test ( Post redshirt ) Friday with Nate Limmex ( who beat Chad Red ). Sunday he gets Ryan Diehl who was an NCAA qualifier last year....beating Gulibon and Majoring Thorn in the process. Definitely another big weekend for the true frosh

My post was about your title. All I did was point out that PSU gave up more than one takedown this weekend. Nothing more. Just thought you would want to be accurate.

Sorry, but PSU did NOT give up more than one TD this weekend. We gave up one and it was the one in the Lee match. Maybe YOU should worry about being accurate. LOL.

I am certain at my age that my brain cells are dying at a much faster rate...but I swear that Cray took down Schnupp in their 4-2 match....or did they call that a straight reversal?

Well, it's hard to get a TD when you are in the bottom position. Schnupp had the only TD in that match.

Indeed....my apologies. I thought the roll through was one and then two. Wrong. So I am both inaccurate AND senile. It seems I am getting to the point where I only have enough brain power to do one task at a time.....I can only think between breaths and heartbeats :) I will try to do better

LOL, that was good, especially since I'm getting to that age myself.

You should have been with us and the PSUWC bus trip at Looney's Pub on Sunday. Lots of loud talk that most of us couldn't hear. :D
Haven't taken the bus since the Lehigh match when PSU and Lehigh dined together. Do not remember the year, but Ed wrestled true freshman Nate Brown.

I might have sign up for one of them.
