Guess which one falls the farthest in the pools. Alabama will make the final four. i hate to say it but Ohio State is probably the best team in the country.

Sure Alabama's loss is worse but do you actually think psu is better? Both psu and iowa were probably ranked a spot or two too high last week. Psu will stay top 10 for two more weeks and then who knows, it all depends on Clifford's injury

We just are not in their class, and I doubt we will be for the foreseeable future. We find too many ways to lose big games. And for all the accolades, the defense didn't step up last night when it really had to. Been like that for a long time and shows no signs of changing.

You may want to watch a Georgia game.
That would be a blockbuster matchup: OSU's offense against Georgia's defense and that could happen if both keep rolling. The question mark is the OSU defense. They do seem to be getting better but have a ways to go to get to the "efficient" tag

Ohio State is good, but they just beat four below average (being kind) teams after losing to Oregon at home. Of course they are going to look like world beaters. They are the best team in the BIG, but let’s temper the excitement for them. Some of our fans fell in love with them last year and they got destroyed by Bama. Their defense is still suspect. Maryland is starting to show their true colors and if I heard it correctly yesterday they are down three CB’s on top of all the injuries they have at WR. Of course OSU was going to crush them. Hell a very average Iowa team crushed them on the road.

Oregon beat OSU AT THE SHOE, then lost to USC. OSU is not even the best team in the BIG East division.
O$U is and will be the best team in tbe Big10 by year’s end - by a wide margin. The will crush Iowa in the Big10 Championship.

I can't believe I am waking up in a universe where Alabama has a loss in October. This world is going to hell in a handbasket.

And I wouldn't be surprised to see Georgia get beat before the SEC CG. Just shows how much parity in CF. Anyone of 4 or 5 teams could win the NC this year

Georgia. I predict OSU will lose to either UM or Penn State. The D is not NC caliber. Next year it should be.

PSU and Iowa’s ceiling this year is a NY6 bowl in my opinion. That is, if Clifford is healthy in 2 weeks.

So if everything I read about on the OSU sites is true, it's all about the OSU defensive coaching and schemes. Do they fire and replace coaches at the end of the year ?

I’m not sure Iowa will be there to get crushed….they could lose to Wiscy, Nebraska and possibly NW.

The offense will carry them to an undefeated record the rest of the way. Neither Michigan or Penn State are even close to Ohio State. But, the playoff is another matter.

Not according to their fans. Take a trip over to the Iowa Rivals board and they're already making plans for the college playoffs and taking down Georgia in the NC game.

Well, bless their little hearts….they’re not the smartest group of fans, so we have to humor them once in a while.

OSU is going to beat everyone in the B10, they are starting to roll so much talent and young talent. Hate to say it. PSU has no shot in C-bus without Clifford and Mustipher and has a slim shot with them.
What team with a pulse did the Bucknuts best so far?

FACT: The accolades for the defense are a DIRECT result of on-the-field 2021 play in "big games" against Wisconsin and Auburn...or is the intent to revise history and reclassify those as not big games?

Fine, I hereby deem Iowa "not a big game"...PSU still controls its own destiny with respect to the eastern division of the Big 10, the Big 10 championship game and likely the playoffs. It doesn't mean they will achieve those goals, but they still can...so we deem Iowa not a "big game" LOL.

More importantly, the defense performed well, despite the loss of Mustipher, and despite being put in difficult situations over and over (and succeeding in most of them) as a direct result of the dropoff in production between QB1 and QB2. Despite the apparent need to over-analyze, it isn't complicated.
