Obviously. Why would they play it in November?Bet they play the game in WV when it's warm. No SEC team would ever play in snow or cold.

And the two times in the past decade we've needed non-conf games during the B1G portion of the schedule, we've played Eastern Illinois and Temple. Why would anyone add a marquee non-conference game into the heart of their conference schedule (and this includes West Virginia, who I'm sure would also have no interest in it).Yeah, but the SEC has no problem playing The Citadel, Liberty or Idaho in November.
Alabama is in a unique situation. Outside of scheduling Clemson, they are going to be double digit favorites over everyone else. Does anyone really think going to Morgantown in November is going to hurt Alabama that much?

Shayne Lyons, the WVU AD who replaced Oliver Luck, came to WVU from Alabama. Also Nick Saban grew up about 25 miles south of Morgantown, WV so I would think all of that came into play in arranging the 2 game series. In order to schedule a game like that in November wouldn’t WVU also have to have open dates on their calendar?
And since Bama and WVU play in conferences -do the conference schedules have any bearing in this?
Or is it just Banas responsibility for scheduling?
