Reportedly, the maintenance performed early this morning, the avatars disappearing, the problems with editing posts, etc. are all related to Rivals efforts to prepare for Wednesday's early signing day for football. That's a huge traffic day for Rivals. The avatars are supposedly safe, and will reappear -- I just don't know when.
