my wife likes football, but stops short of appreciating the nfl draft, recruiting news, or spring footballl games. She inquired about the results of the blue white game last weekend and I said that the Blue team won. She asked whether the blue team always won, and I couldn’t say. So, has the blue team always been the 1’s and the white team the 2’s? I’m sure there were times where the ones and twos were mixed, but am not sure how many times. The bottom line question I have is what is the all time win/loss records for the blue and white teams?

No, I recall times when Joe split the squad so that all the starters were not on 1side. It might have been the starting OL vs starting DL, or other such configuration.

So you just know things like this or did you make it up?
I'm writing a book on PSU football, believe it or not. Quick research. If your wife would like to know the scores of every game by year, I can get it to you by tomorrow and maybe she can make you dinner for answering her question beyond what any sane human being should know. ;)

She sounds pretty cool by the way. My wife loves football too but is a Redskins fan so there's that. :(

My wife is an Eagles fan and I’m a Cowboys fan, so we don’t agree on pro football. She’s a UVA grad, but watches Penn State football with me and we watch UVA basketball for her. Her first blue white game was the abomination when Bill O’Brien had points for three and out and other things, as opposed to real scoring. Will that make it into your book?

Only the part about your wife being an Eagles fan ;)
