This $20 per month, 500 channel lineup has BTN on channel #343 and a program channel guide called -- EPG.
No long term contract/ hookup to 3 devices in home (TV, TV, iPad) via cable box, Amazon Fire, Alexia, Windows, Android, PC, or Apps on smart TV.
Customer service is a call center in FL with NO connection to any management personnel. Chat is only connection to support people, but answers quickly -- mostly in minutes.
I have disputed the 'live' channels v the 'proposed' channels without an answer from support.
Local news is not your local, they could pickup any city/town local news in the USA, it can vary.

I have not experimented with this as yet, waiting for their improvements, and closer to season to chose a plan to satisfy household.

I am throwing this out for all comments -- good or bad.....have at it.

I know a guy that has this and looooooves it. I’m thinking about it after this summer as we don’t watch much TV in the summer.

Interesting. And other than weather, local TV news has become a bit of a joke. Besides, you can get any local news you want on all news radio. Good tip.

BTN
343

BT ESPN
344

BT SPORTS 1
345

BT SPORTS 2
346

BT SPORTS 3
347

now I think BTN is Big Ten Network

Yes, Correct--I was searching under "Sports" as PPB suggested earlier.

Anyway, the whole thing feels quite sketchy even before reading the article.

yes but it is only $20 if you have a stick, so why not try? I want away from Comcast so bad, but to me Dish or Direct arent the answer, and I really dont have another idea. There seems to be a flaw in every alternative. No this or no that etc.

Hey if you are in the position to straight up throw away a $20 bill be my guest. Reading some of the reviews of the program it's something I wouldn't feel comfortable putting my money towards, let alone trust with my billing information. They have an F on the BBB and there are tons of unhappy customers who are trying to get their money back b/c the service doesn't work as advertised. In the end they will be sued by multiple media conglomerates and put out of business, but not before they've collected the $20 from hundreds/thousands of consumers. Plus they now have their information which they'll sell to advertisers for even more $$$. Not saying companies don't already do this, just saying it'll cost ya more than the $20 per month.

If you really need to watch something you can 99% of the time torrent it "illegally" anyway for free.

If you want out of Comcast and/or Dish DirecTV you can look at one of the legit and legal streaming options ala YouTubeTV, HuluTV, SlingTV, PSVue etc.

In addition the owner of this company is a convicted felon:

Florida court records show that Labossiere has an extensive history of criminal charges, including trafficking in ecstasy and cocaine. On the latter charge, he was sentenced to a year and a half in prison. He was also arrested for domestic violence in 2015, but prosecutors declined to file charges.
