It is because we have among, if not the largest number of verbal commits at this point. I believe we currently have 11 verbals. and maybe have about 25 total scholarships to accept for 2018. This is indicative that CJF and his staff are getting the message out to get talented kids to commit now before room runs out. Other major programs may have more, although our average star ratings are very impressive at this point. My point is that we are #1 now based on a larger number of early verbal commitments than other schools, but when signing day comes in February 2018, we really have no idea where we will end up. A top 10 ranking is probable, but as long as we receive firm commitments from positions of need with highly talented kids, we will be doing what we need to do to move closer to our next National Championship!
