an inflation question

So, here's a question for all the "armchair" economists out there.......

Would inflation be this bad without the Biden/democrat policies?

Right now inflation is tooling along at 9.1%.....There was a story not long ago where the author highlighted a GAO report that tagged the impact of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue plan as adding about 4% to inflation (seems summers was right, at least according to the GAO)

There were stories within the last six months where analysts estimated that the higher gas prices - before the biden recession gas price pullback - also added about 4% to inflation.

Well, that's 8% altogether and given that when Biden took office in January 2021 the rate stood at 1.4%, the 4%+4%+1.4% would pretty much give us what we have now.

So, even if the "experts" are off a % here or a % there, it would seem as if inflation really didn't need to be this bad.
