I plan on getting to the game on Monday baring any issuies with transportation, but there should be live feed for any of those who can't make the game but still want to watch our commits.

But before the game I wanted to give you some information. I was given by last night by a trusted source who is very close to both programs and high school basketball and give you all an inside look into the PCL championship.

First, last night's game between Roman and Carrol was nuts, a 11 lead changes, which lead to Roman winning the game by one in OT.

Tony Carr: Told that he played one of the most complete games he has ever played in his four years at Roman, scoring, rebounding, and defending for the whole game. Carr ended up with 24, 6 assists, and eight rebounds. He guarded Samford Commit Josh Sharkey the whole game, for those who have not seen Sharkey he is a small jet quick PG. As I have said Carr has really picked it up the last two months after starting out slow. Seems to me he is healthier and more comfortable. Over the past four years it has been great to watch him play. He is Roman's true leader. Also, was told he was 4-7 from 3 last night.

Lamar Stevens I heard battled all night as well. Traditionally, Carrol has always had Lamar's number. I have seen him play four times against Carrol and he has been nuturalised each time. However, it was good to hear he battled last night in route to 13&6. Against NG Lamar traditionally has shown well, especially the last game against NG. I look for a big game with Lamar on Monday.

Bostick finsihed with 14 and grinded it out. Bostick is a battler. He has an ugly game at being only six foot three and playing inside. But he always find little ways to be effective in big games.

Quade Green was the star of the night last putting on a long range show in route to 33 and a stat sheet stuffer type of night. In my opinion, Quade and Carr are the two best guards and players in the City and possibly the state. Their resumes have wins all over it.

Mondays game features 8 D-1 prospects, some of which PSU is actively recruting and or has signed:

NG is lead by top 40 junior Qaude Green and top 150 junior Dhamier Cosby Roundtree, both who PSU are monitoring. Digging deep into NG's team they are a total team. They are led in scoring by senior Zane Martin (Towson commit) at 18.3 PPG and Quade Green at 17.5 only on 11 shots a game. Each starter for NG avreges over double figuried. Watch out for unsigned senior Vaughn Covington, has been a thorn in Romans side for three years.

Look for a big game for Quade, Zane, and DCR.

Roman Catholic:

Roman will enter the game as the underdog, loosing against NG in early January. Roman is led by its three seniors and PSU commits Tony Carr, Lamar Stevens, and Nas Bostick. However, Paul Newman a fourth senior has contributed to the success of Roman this year.

I look for Lamar Stevens to start out on NG's DCR in the game. Those two always go at each other, both from Team Final AAU. Lamar played well the first game and I expect him to play well the second game. What will be interesting to watch is how NG will defend Lamar. Last game they lived with him shooting jump shots, which was able to hit. Will NG come out and defend Lamar?

Carr and Green will March up for the 8th and final time against each other. An interesting twist is that Quade started his AAU career out with Team Final and then switched to WeAre1 last summer. Carr and Green seem to always put up numbers against each other and I expect the same consistentcey with them once again.

Can Roman nutralise NG's role players? Can Roman find a way to hit some outside shots to bring NG's D outside? Will NG be able to keep Lamar and Carr in check?

Roman and NG are two PCL powers, NG ranked in the top 15 in the country. It should be a great game with the players and the coaching matchup.

Chris Mcnesby (Roman coach) and Carl Arigale (NG coach) have made Roman powers and continued their stories tradition, combining for five state titles and numerous PCL titles.

Players of interest:
I am going to leave out the commits.

Quade Green: A top 40 junior and newly added on the PSA Cardinals Nike EYBL AAU. Green is one of he five best shooters in high school basketball a true Sniper, who does more than just shoot. Green has grown into a complete player who does more than score. A very efficient shooter who gets to his spots and knocks it down. Everyone across the country is after Qaude. Right now, no leaders just a lot of interest.

Roundtree: A six foot eight junior who has rapidly improved this year. By time he graudates he will be a top 75 by time he graduates. He has a developing offensive game, but a very polished defensive game at the rim and on the perimiter. Very good athelte.

Mikeal Jones: Holds a Penn state offer and right now isn't a main cog on Romans attack. Shows some flashes, but right now is relegated to a role players. He has a ton of talent and personally it was a great move for Chambers to show early interest in Jones, much like he did with Shep and Carr. He is only going to get better.

It will be a great game!! I hope I set it all up and broke it down for you all to give you a better idea of what and who to look for on Monday. At the very least it will be an old school great Philly high school game. Have at it and enjoy.
