What did everyone think of the announcer predicting OSU's one 2-pt attempt last night?

The guy is given the privilege of watching a practice and he outs OSU's play they had been practicing. What if Penn State had someone listening to the broadcast and relaying commentary to the sideline?

Seemed like a big breach of sports journalistic integrity, no?

Yes, heard it. At that point I don't know how much difference it makes when we said it seconds before they ran the play.

I am pretty sure there is a rule against relaying broadcast info to the team.

With that said, idiot announcers love to hear themselves talk.

I'm a bit surprised we having run a jet sweep this year (have we?) -- doing that against the grain of running Barkley/Trace might help with the overpursuing we are seeing from opposing defenses.

Add it to the long list of unprofessional Announcing from Saturday.

I thought it was ridiculous when he said it

Speaking of that, I’m surprised we didn’t see the hook and ladder play to Barkley at the end

I thought it was weird too. However, it was supposed to be a pass by the receiver/runner, Dixon. Announcer didn't mention that -- could lead to conspiracy theories about Meyer running a different play on purpose. The intended recipient of the pass had no one with 10 yards of him. Dixon either panicked or thought he could get into the endzone. Or, equally as plausible PSU player made a good play and got there before Dixon could set up.
