Thought PSU's defense stepped up and played a strong game. I know it wasn't planned, but Levis seemed to provide a real spark and put OSU's defense on its heels. The turnovers obviously were huge and I think if PSU had managed to convert the Fields' fumble into a tying touchdown instead of a field goal, the momentum would have been hard to overcome. The offense with Levis just wasn't prepared to air it out on those last couple of drives. Playcalling by OSU was a bit mystifying late in the game as well.

Good luck against RU and in your bowl game! Assuming Clifford can play, is there a QB controversy or no question he will be the starter?

Thanks burg. No QB controversy in my mind. Barring injury Clifford is the starter. Levis provided a spark, but the longer he was in there his flaws became more magnified.

Nah no controversy. Cliff’s got to settle himself down but he’ll be a good one. Next year should be fun at our place. We’re due.

No controversy unless Clifford has to recover and Levis kills it in practice. Was an exciting game. This OSU team is for real. Was actually a sloppy game by them (at least in relative terms)... once up 21-0. Levis threw your D off but they adjusted and just overpowered. Best of luck seeing how far your team can go. They can beat anybody this year.

Well from what they said, the offensive line couldn’t hear the QB changing the play so it looked like a Chinese fire drill back there. Yes he did provide that spark we needed but Clifford is the man unless he’s hurt and can’t go.

Yes, some sloppy play at critical times, but PSU defense had something to do with that too. Trying not to look ahead, but would be fascinating to have OSU and LSU matched up in the championship...Heisman winner Burrow (unless Chase beats him out for it of course! ) going against his old team?!? Crazy stuff!!

LSU has NEVER had an offense like this one. They won’t have that OC much longer. So it’s an especially fun thought. Wouldn't even try to predict who’d win.

Well Levis provided a brief spark, but any realistic chance PSU had to win ended when Clifford got hurt. His injury and Young being eligible to play (surprise) were the 2 biggest factors in the game IMO.
