Any chances of flyover Saturday?

I've read that these flyover pilots generally need the hours to maintain their training and licensing / certifications. So they'd be flying around somewhere anyway, and instead they periodically get to fly over an event.
It's also good PR and the pilots likely have fun doing it as well.

I know my BIL is in the Air Force, and their budget cycle is Oct 1 to Sept 30. Month of September is to use up all the budgeted hours, because it is use it or lose it for the next cycle. A few years ago, he mentioned they did some trips to Japan to get sushi, and come back a bit later to burn miles in the month of September. Certainly some governmental waste, but that could be said in EVERY governmental agency

Why TF would you want to spend our tax dollars to have someone fly a plane over a football game?
