If there was no such thing as the portal he would have been the 3rd DB behind JPJ and King.

However, with Johnny Dixon and Storm Duck he is still in the 4th/5th DB.

If you saw him play his freshman year, you would have thought he'd be a 30 career starts type of CB by now to accentuate what TL said.

Reminds me of players who get the track star label: has straight line speed, but is poor at turning his hips and running with WRs. Or maybe it's his feet. Or maybe we've just had some really good Corners and being good wasn't enough to break past guys that are great.

Spent some time at WR, but seemingly fell off that map after some drops. I always thought he could have been a return guy, but I don't believe that he ever fielded kicks publicly.

His departure was kind of shocking because with Porter Jr turning pro, many here figured he would see more playing time in '23.

he actually has been identified as a defender who has really good hands........ so smaller, very fast guy that has good hands. PSU has gaps in their roster this year, but defense backfield is not one of them.....we do have a number of high end guys who somewhat displaced Wilson. I think that you will be happy with Wilson.

yep....good player, still a lot of upside, just got caught in a numbers game. Every single starter in our defensive backfield (LB, S, CB) as the potential to be an All-American. If not this year, as they grow. Wilson is a good player who can play but just got buried (as everyone else is saying). I wish him the best except if/when playing PSU.
