It’s probably too much to ask for, but I’m hoping Franklin ruins Christmas by naming his new offensive coordinator on Christmas Eve.
I highly doubt we will get an OC announcement this week. Even if he has his guy they will wait til after the bowl game

Franklin said he's looking for someone who blends in with the current staff. Doesn't sound to me like he's worried about perception.

All Franklin meant was he didn't want to bring in a new OC who'd completely change the system. Franklin is most certainly concerned about perception, almost too much.
