Other than some entertainment from potentially interacting with pitt fans during Christmas get togethers and listening to them cry over having to play a directional school in their "bowl".....

I highly doubt we will get an OC announcement this week. Even if he has his guy they will wait til after the bowl game

You seem to spend a lot of time worrying about Pitt.and their fan base.

Let me make this easy for you, so you can retort to any comments from PItt fans.

3 NY6 games in 4 years. None for Pitt.
3-1 over Pitt in the last four games. 53 wins against Pitt vs. 43 wins for Pitt all time.
49 bowl games vs. Pitt's 31 bowl games
29 bowl victories vs. Pitt's 13 bowl victories

How many of us actually interact with pitt athletic supporters over the holidays?

Unless one enjoys being called an enabler, a child rapist or a pedophile I see no reason to engage a “ typical “ Pitt fan in a conversation. Because the above facts only tend to make them more irrational.

Dude, it ain't my cross to bear. I don't care what other fan bases think or say, but the OP seems to be a mite bit intimidated by them. So, gave him some bullets. It's up to him whether he wants to load the pistol and shoot.

But if someone is concerned and intimidated about what a Pitt fan would say, then I think they are not the tough people that they claim Western Pa people to be. Which is something I always suspected.

What? You never ordered a pizza during the holidays and had it delivered?

If you call taking the pizza and pushing the guy off my porch and into the snow, then yes, I’ve interacted with pitt athletic supporters over the holidays.

Some Penn State fans have Pitt for brains.

It’s probably too much to ask for, but I’m hoping Franklin ruins Christmas by naming his new offensive coordinator on Christmas Eve.

And its Andrew Breiner. It would, for me, be a Christmas Miracle:D.

If you're going to hire Breiner, might as well just hire Bowen.

Both might be good OCs someday, but neither will move the needle nationally and on the recruiting trail

Franklin said he's looking for someone who blends in with the current staff. Doesn't sound to me like he's worried about perception.

All Franklin meant was he didn't want to bring in a new OC who'd completely change the system. Franklin is most certainly concerned about perception, almost too much.
