Did anyone have major problems coming in for the game on Park Ave, both from the east and west for the C. Mich. game?
The Athletic Dept has told us they are issuing, this year and last year, different 'Zone' Passes for Lots accessed from Park Ave in an effort to lessen the traffic back-ups on Park Ave.

There's still a lot of traffic, but since you can only use park avenue if you're parking pass says so, it is better than past years. I don't like it, because if we are coming from Home Depot area we can't just go down park ave, we have to circle all the way around, get off down by college avenue and put ourselves in a heinous line of traffic in order to park by the baseball stadium

They must be directing them through the North route because I’ve waited on Fox Hollow both weeks and I have never waited there before. Just stupid that they can’t figure this out.

Yes, they are directing them down and out via Fox Hollow for several 'W' Zone Lots on Park Ave. And they are directing 'E' Zone Lot 31 traffic up Porter Road ('S' Zone) to Lot 31. The thing they need to do is stop the nonsense and open Park Ave intersection which was safe for 60 years. The University Police and State Police controlled that intersection in an excellent manner and handled the pedestrian and vehicular traffic in a safe manner. There is no safety 'Data' showing this intersection was unsafe before the Traffic was changed by the '2019 Traffic Plan'.
The Police and University spoke persons at the 'Traffic Town Hall' meetings in Jan 2019 could not answer that question about 'safety data' when asked at the 3 or 4 meetings.

Different parking question: We are in S parking zone (old Blue), and for CMU they were leaning into the car SCANNING the bar code on the parking pass. When I asked if this was new and I related that it wasn't done vs. Ohio two weeks ago, I was told that it WAS done vs. Ohio. Now I turn to my son and roll my eyes, because we both already knew it WASN'T DONE vs. Ohio.

I swear PSU parking would screw up a one-car funeral.

I park in lot 41 and enter next to BJC. They scanned passes for both home games this year.

They scanned mine at Ohio for Lot 18....did not scan this weekend

We turned onto Park around 9:30 and traffic was moving until it came to a stop to allow the CMU buses and police escort leave. Took longer than expected but once it started moving I was in Lot 18 pretty fast.

Mine was scanned week one in lot 22.

The thing that drives me nuts is that people are always stopping and talking to the cops directing traffic, either at the Fox Hollow/Toftrees intersection or at the entrance to lots 22/22. I assume they got in the wrong line and they're getting directions of some sort. It has to be like one every 10 cars or so. They stop for about 30-45 seconds each, compounding the line.

I sat on Fox Hollow for 20-30 minutes for both games, but the line to get into my lot (22) was exactly zero cars once I turned off Fox Hollow.

Curious about what time you arrived, if you don’t mind sharing.

My parking pass (lot 24) was scanned at both home games this year.

I hit Tofftrees at about 9:20. Was parked in lot 22 about 9:55.

Edit: Now that I think about it, there was nobody behind me entering lot 22 either, yet Fox Hollow was backed up into Tofftrees.
