Your family will be in our thoughts. Stay safe. Gives me anxiety these days after what we went thru with Ian a couple years ago. Be safe and keep us posted.
Thanks. Ian did some damage to us. Power was out for 21 days or so.
Katrina was the worst for me as I had to relocate to NJ for 9 weeks until New Orleans came back.
Right now we are just experiencing some rain. It is expected to hit my area between 6 and 9pm. Moving fast which is a good thing.
Not that anyone cares, but the hurricane passed right over us. Winds up to 80 - 90 mph. We had power go off but come right back on.
It seems that we are clear of anything bad.

Relocation to NJ would be traumatic for any of us!

Well, we did lose power around 11pm. Still out. Have a portable generator running.
No damage to the house that I noticed, just a lot of tree debris.
Hope we're good for another 3 years.
