If you have never been to Carver there is really no bad seats in the house. Unless you get caught up on the landing in the standing room only area. The underground bowl environment is a one of a kind experience that every big college wrestling fan should experience. I plan a trip to State college aswell when my son gets a little older. Bucket list!

I'd recommend you go ahead and skip your trip to State College. It's only going to make you like Iowa City less.

I hear how great it is but lets be real, theres a limit to how good one can produce ice cream right? 83% of the time, when I hear how great something is and I finally try it I walk away disappointed. Last week I went to Primantes after years of hearing my buddies tell me how great it is. Primantes is a perfect example of what I'm saying here..

To clarify, when Penn State traveled to Iowa for the OOC meet several years ago, Iowa paid for the charter. Brands agrees that he owes a trip to Penn State but says Penn State owes them a charter in return.
