Thank you. How about Lake Noc? Shore fished by Haycock launch on Saturday in early afternoon bright sun and caught nothing. Thinking early morning and dusk for large mouth. Have you ever fished the lake and do you have any suggestions? I love artificial lures so unless I bring a heavier pole for cats or carp it will be fakes for me.No, it's a Trout stream. A nice trout stream...one of my favorite places to hang out on weekends during high school. A couple of my close buddies (about 10 of them) would have a camp site in Tohickon Park every Friday/Saturday during the school year and everyday during the summer. This continued after high school for quite a few years until they finally settled down.
Great information. Thanks a ton.Sorry, I only fished Noc a few times in the 70's and early 80's. The lake was still new so I'm sure much has changed since that time. If you want bass, hit the river...take some nice shiners and have some fun. The area from Upper Black Eddy all the way to the rocks at Trenton is fantastic. As you get above Upper Black Eddy the river starts to become a trout stream...stop in New Hope and have a beer at one of the many bars along river road. They rent (used to anyway) canoes at Point Pleasant and will take you up river as far as you'd like to go...makes a great float trip for smallies.
