the local sports teams and newspapers are using the app named "Periscope". Way cool but as a Father of a little girl, way scary. In essence, you can live stream anything. So, I download this to get a couple of new reporter's live steam of the Cavs press conference and a local fire. Then, I look around and I find someone live streaming the movie "Spy" while they are in the movie theater. Then, a gal is live streaming playing with her dogs in her Brooklyn Apartment.

You can imagine what people could do.

But, it also presents some very cool features and opportunities.

Anyway, worth a look if you haven't tried it.

Yep. I used it for Menet's announcement as well. I heard the Mayweather vs. Pacqiao fight was all over it that night. I have android and prefer and app called Meerkat. Same as Periscope, but a nicer layout in my opinion. Definitely useful in certain situations, but also a ton of garbage on these apps as well.
