In the past Drew just falls on this ball 100/100 times. I absolutely love how he kept this play alive. We need Drew to be a playmaker to beat Oregon/Make some noise in the playoff. He needs to be more than just a game manager.

If he throws a couple of ints so be it but I prefer “USC Drew” vs “Play it Safe Drew”. And that doesn’t mean that you need to throw into triple coverage but he needs to make some plays for us to beat Playoff Caliber teams.

My favorite part of that play was his first instinct was to flip to Warren but Warren was still engaged so he realized he couldn't but continued to watch Warren to see when it was safe(r) to do so. Allar's a much improved QB from last year--he's NFL ready--I know not everyone sees that but it's little thins like this that should jump out to people as it will for scouts. Everyone knows he has the arm talent.

Also, they're correct. Warren isn't Bowers. No one is. Bowers might be the best college football player in the past 20 years but Warren will be a difference maker in the NFL. Hopefully he goes to the NFC so the Steelers don't face him often. But imagine him with a creative OC. If Detroit didn't already have their own elite TE that would be the perfect spot.
