Seems like the dealers fees vary and I tried to figure it out from the PDOT site but I couldn't. Can you download forms and take them to a notary and do all of this yourself? Last question: giving the old car to one of our children in OH. Seems impossible to ascertain the cost/fees for a transit plate too, so help there would be appreciated! Thank you!

If you belong to AAA, stop by an office. They will transfer owners ship for free. Make sure you have the title with you.
