This may have been posted previously, but I wanted to share the video below. I got a kick out of this... At the game last weekend, I actually had a great view of this, and was shocked he caught it. First of all, it was thrown low, and to have the level of focus with the mascot suit on shows the Lion is very much in tune with what's happening in the game. Second, he didn't miss a beat, never lost character. Had everyone in our section cracking up! The UW guy behind me goes.. wait okay what's this Nittany Lion thing, that was great!

I was happy to see that the Lion get some recognition with his induction to the "Mascot Hall of Fame".... haha.. #LUVYALIONS! (I included the induction process below)

Totally fun catch and a replay as a bonus. St away games it is much easier to focus on the game. Home games there are so many distractions.

But major props to him.....because I doomed the Orange Bowl in 85. Just prior to the games during team warmups....one of the managers sent me on a fly pattern fromthe 50 and I struggled to track the ball with the Lion head on....and dropped all 3 tries. It’s my fault we lost to Oklahoma. Lol.

Boo!

I think that's the dance team
Speaking of Cheerleaders, has anyone ever noticed the "cheer dude" or whatever the guy is called that Pitt used to use to "rev" up the crowd in the first half of the 1981 Pitt Penn State game? At times, it's so obnoxious that you can barely hear the commentators over the loudspeaker.

You don't hear it as often in the second half... :)

And like JoePa would want, politely give the ball back to the ref.
