looking to buy one from Amazon or somewhere, Mostly sounds of the ocean waves, rain, nature, soothing spa music.
No door bells, hair dryers, etc.
Can anyone recommend one?
Thanks

I use the one that makes the white noise. Same kind they use in therapists office. Blocks out a lot of sound. Plus I stream music and fall asleep to it.

Is this a machine that, er, um, helps one get to sleep? Oh, no. I’ve never used one. Never. Of course not.

Sleep machine? There’s an app for that. Many of them. Try Aura. It’s free and it’s not another big bulky thing on your nightstand.

Sleep machine?

We don’t need no stinkin’ Sleep machine!!

I normally use a free app on my phone (Relaxio) and stream it to an Echo device. The Echo provides more of a room filling sound. My current mix is white noise, brown noise, and rainfall.

Let me ask you this partner, in earnest, do you have to pee every two or three hours during the night?

If so, you may have a sleep problem similar to sleep apnea. Your move..

I have that problem after 10 hours of tailgating for the 8pm starts.

There are apps on the Echo device directly, you wouldn’t need to stream.

I use the internal Echo sounds sometimes, but most of them have a 1 hour loop and a fade out/fade in every hour. They are also dependent on the Echo not losing internet connectivity or going through an update. The sudden cutoff of the noise is fairly jaring. Streaming from the phone app eliminates those possible issues.

I have a neighbor kid with a loud car who tends to be coming and going all hours of the night. My wife and I love it.

I guess we can't post a link from Amazon here? Anyway, we bought the K-Star white noise machine.

Smoke a joint then masturbate. Knocks me right out! And If you can't fall asleep after this you should be a god damn Navy SEAL!!!!
Although the body of science and male history may support your conclusions above (or like strategies), it appears the OP was looking for an alternative strategy, something more electronic in nature and less hands on.

I have used one for about a year. Never tried one until I was staying in a hotel that had one in room because it was right by a very busy and loud road. It was great. I will have to look at brand tonight when I get home.

I bought the wife a homedics deep sleep machine at Best Buy for 100 bucks. Seems to work at well. It does 8 water and nature sounds. Also 4 different white noises. And you can do some preset therapy programs. Me personally I just drink a bottle of Voodoo Big Black Voodoo Daddy.

I use the Ultra Heart and Sound Soother. It has 10 sounds. I prefer the White Noise sound because it is a steady sound. I also have a Marsona. It is small and good for travel.
