Anyone watching Green Bay-Arizona?

And Arizona wins on a Fitzgerald Catch, Now the rules will be ripped cause Rodgers didn't get a down in O.T.

Crazy ending for frankly a boring game through 3.5 quarters. Arizona gets a late TD to take the lead on a tipped pass. Green Bay then converts 4th and 20 and then a Hail Mary bomb to tie the game at the buzzer and send it to OT. Then a coin flip where the coin never flips. Then Arizona throws a 10 yard pass that Fitzgerald takes 76 yards down to the 4 followed by a shovel pass TD for the win. Just a crazy ending. o_Oo_Oo_O

Every time I watch Larry Fitzgerald play.... I think about how Joe Paterno tried to recruit him to PSU as a LB. He went to Pitt because he wanted to be a WR.

Funny, you would think a Pitter would think about what a fine representative of the University he is instead of obsessing over Penn State. Just goes to show how much we are in your heads.

He was only a rental for Pitt. He got his degree recently from the University of Phoenix, so he is not even considered a Pitt alum.

GREAT fourth quarter, awesome catch and run by Fitzgerald in OT. Somewhat interesting, Kuhn (Dover) the Green Bay FB and Arians (York High where my parents went) are both York County products.

I much prefer the college OT system. Each team gets a chance to win it!
My only beef with the college ot rules are the starting already in fg position. I'd like to see the scoring a little more challenging, perhaps starting at the 40 or midfield..of course then it might turn into a fg game...just too many double+ ot games imho

More lies UPitt? Have a link to prove your statement?

The story I had always heard was that Fitz liked Penn State and grew up watching Arrington, Short, and was interested in the history of Linebacker U - Fitz was a pretty good linebacker in high school, too. He and his coach were driving to Penn State for a visit, and his coach suggested that they stop by Pitt on the way to check it out. When they got there, Fitzgerald fell in love with Walt Harris and Pitt, and never ended up making it to Penn State for that visit. I've never heard that PSU was recruiting Fitz exclusively as a LB, but Pitt definitely offered him immediate playing time at WR. He's always seemed like a good guy, and I've rooted for him over the years - probably should have won the Heisman over Jason White, but the voters were much more hesitant to give the award to underclassmen then.
