If NJ.com works the same as PennLive (and it likely does), there's a work-around:

Find the article on Twitter and read it on your phone.

Thanks for the help. Tried that on my computer before posting, with the same result. Says "Rutgers Coverage for Super Fans", with a cost of $59.99 annually.

After your post, tried it on my phone, and viola -- it worked. Again, strange because I never had the pop-up on the computer before.

Interesting, I just opened one of the nj.com articles and it only suggested a subscription, was able to click though and read. This was using DuckDuckGo chrome would not let it open.

I wonder how the Collegian knows which PSU duals will be on BTN when BTN doesn't seem to know? Curious.
 
I put it in reader view on my iPad using safari and that worked for me.
 
For all the effort to read the bj.com articles..is there anything of importance. It could be said..... i have more important things to do.
