Interesting article from The Lantern in which Ryan laments the missed opportunity to grow the sport. Maybe he should contact the B1G schedulers to complain since that is who sets all the conference slates. If the folks in Chicago had some foresight they wouldn't have scheduled a high profile wrestling match and a basketball game both at PSU on the same day.

It was worse than that.

Friday - home hockey game in Pegula on BTN which uses the BJC parking lot
Saturday - men's basketball game in BJC on BTN
Sunday - women's basketball game in BJC

No options for wrestling in BJC this weekend

Tan(trum) toms comments are even more idiotic than that. The simple fact is that, by virtue of btn, “casual fans” had access to the event in the format that they would be most likely to consider experiencing it. Consider, for example the number of comments in the last two days’ threads referencing newbies who watched the event. Does he seriously think they would have bought a ticket and traveled to sc to seee it in person?
