Found an interesting Did Not Know in that LH Express article: that Pat Donghia wrestled for Lock Haven in the 90s.

Could any of you in the know, share what years please? Did he ever qualify for nationals?

I think you misinterpreted what the LH Express article stated. The exact words were:

"And many of you will remember current Penn State Wrestling SID Pat Donghai from hisa (sic) stint at LHU during the 90s. No one seemed happier after eahc (sic) title than Pat. He was the first to greet each after the coaches and champions had celebrated."

Prior to working at PSU, Pat worked at Lock Haven, and before that he worked at Edinboro.

Did he wrestle in college? I don't know. Roar may know the answer to that.

Thank you for the nice articles, as always, Tom.

Also, do you agree with me that there are too many threads pinned at the top? For example, do we still need the LMS thread pinned? Or three nice articles that everyone by now has had the chance to read? If it were up to me, I'd have only two pinned threads: the videos thread and the world-domination spreadsheet thread. Those are the only two that people might want to revisit. At most, I would keep one of the two ~recap articles, but not all three articles.

Actually, I don't...but can ask. Now that the seasons over, may not see him for several weeks.

If you feel there are too many, simply close the section. There are only 6 pinned messages.

lol, no matter how many, or how few, are pinned, somebody always takes issue with the number. It's a never ending issue, and we never can satisfy everyone.

I could un-pin the LMS thread. I typically leave contest posts pinned for several months, so that the winner(s) get some accolades. Plus, I haven't gotten around to saving the results, which I typically do before I un-pin contest posts.

As for the articles, it's standard policy of BWI to pin them to the top of the board when they are posted, especially when there is a lot of activity on the board (as was the case during and after NCAAs). I suspect Tim will un-pin them in the near future. It's hard to believe for those of us that are on the board every single day, but not everyone has the time or luxury to frequent the board every day.

Interestingly, I actually un-pinned a thread on Saturday evening, but then pinned Anniet's video thread on Sunday.

In a week, it will probably be down to 2 or 3 pinned posts.

Ahh, yes. Tom is right; sloppy reading comprehension

Count me as still interested in the answer tho, please!

Just a thought on pinned items. During the season, I wish the weekly match notes were pinned until after the match. I found the notes very useful, but had to go search for them as the match unfolded.

That sounds like a good idea. I would often bring up the Notes during a broadcast, and like you would have to search a few pages to find them. I'll try to remember to do that next season.

Cool! Thanks! I did not know about that closing the section feature.

It's not a big deal. I just mentioned it because, while the pinned threads are fine on a computer, they can take up the whole page on a phone.

Thanks again!

The LMS thread should stay forever!

See, I need more accolades, then Tom may consider unpinning it.:D

We're talking about accolades?

Mr. Big Stones, how did you pick the LMS, when the entire LMS-picking world could not?
Are you a genius? Is that it?
Are we to believe that the LMS pops into your brain better than it pops into any other brain on the face of the Earth?
Perhaps the laws of statistics cease to exist in your brain. Do you have a magic brain? I mean, did you get it from the same guy who sold Scarecrow his Doctor of Thinkology?

For meritorious LMS picking, extraordinary genius, conspicuous humility, I award you
... the Accolade.

:)
