I think that's all for today, but I've got to hustle off to an appointment, so I can't make my final check. If I find additional articles later today, I'll add them.
Has or will Flo do a Retrospective PSU 2018 ?

I noted when I initially posted this that I had to interrupt the process due to an appointment, and would check for additional articles. I have added five additional articles at the bottom of the OP

Oops, I added two more, so it's seven additional articles that were added at the bottom of the OP

From Pittsburgh Sports Now

"Ronnie Perry, a senior for Lock Haven, shocked the wrestling world by upsetting Iowa Hawkeye and four time All American Brandon Sorensen in the second round. After working his way through rest of the bracket, which included defeating NCAA champion Jason Tsirtsis, no one thought he could beat Retherford. In the second period, it appeared as though Perry scored a takedown, but “two” was not called. With Lock Haven out of challenges, all his coaches (and the crowd) could do was plead the ref to do an official’s review. All tournament, the referees took matters into their own hands when something was not clear. But on the biggest stage, with an unthinkable upset potentially brewing, this official did not. It’s instances like this with Penn State that make people say ridiculous things."

No more ridiculous than this writer insinuating an upset was brewing.

Yeah, the score was 5-1, with 8 seconds left in the 2nd, when Perry hit a low single. In what universe would losing 5-1 more than 2/3 of the way through a bout be considered as an upset in the making?

In the second period, it appeared as though Perry scored a takedown, but “two” was not called. With Lock Haven out of challenges, all his coaches (and the crowd) could do was plead the ref to do an official’s review. All tournament, the referees took matters into their own hands when something was not clear. But on the biggest stage, with an unthinkable upset potentially brewing, this official did not.

What uninformed nonsense in the article. First, I never felt that Perry scored a takedown. Second, the ref was in absolute perfect position during the sequence. He saw that Zain's right foot was free, and that Perry never collected that foot, or covered the far hip, or did anything else that would meet takedown criteria. Third, as for refs reviewing the video on their own, they don't do that whenever "something was not clear (to who?)." They do that when THEY have questions as to a) whether time had run out before criteria were met, b) criteria may have been met during a sequence, c) whether a wrestler was in or out of bounds, d) etc. The call was quite clear to the ref, and there was nothing about it which required him to check the video.

I opened two articles to read about a kid named “Whittlake” (PPG), and the little known fact that Ed Ruth only won 2 NCAA titles and AAed only 3 times (pennlive).

Also very poorly worded for a professional writer.
