Patently ridiculous for an exhibition match. As far as I can tell, both Cruz and Hall have a zero in their loss column. OFFICIALLY.

Further to this, I'm forced to wonder why, if I'm a top tier wrestler, would I bother wrestling in the all-star classic if, despite it being labeled an "exhibition" match, my loss impacts my coaches ranking (Zahid listed ahead of Hall, as per most polls) which determines seeding at the NCAAs, and my Hodge candidacy? In the only ways that truly matter, it's not being treated as an exhibition match. Oh, it's not on my record? Who cares if I'm being penalized for it anyway?

I get what you're saying but seriously doubt any of those alpha competitors ask themselves "what happens if I lose?"

I'm not prepared to run a side by side comparison but it does seem like the all-star classic had an easier time convincing the top tier guys to participate years back, and not so much anymore, so guys are already taking a pass. Hall and Zahid seems like an exception to the trend this season.
