IG bent over backwards, did more gymnastics than Simone Biles, and used more Pretzel Logic than Steely Dan to protect fellow swamp creatures.
Like Comey's presentation accusing Hildebeast of breaking multiple laws a huge number of times but then not pressing charges because he could prove intent ( as if she did all that by accident) the IG documented a huge number of abuses, lies, with holding exculpatory evidence, and more yet he said there was no bias???
This the swamp protecting the swamp. Easily predicted. No one in DC goes to jail.
Now the hope is on Barr and Edit; Durham. Seems they each released statements saying that the IG was wrong. Maybe they will take it to the next step.
Keep in mind that the IG could not interview anyone outside of the Just Us Dept or even any former employees like Comey or McCabe. And he couldn't issue subpoenas, convene a grand jury, or press charges, force plea bargains/cooperation. Barr and Horowitz have many more tools at their disposal.
Lets hope they use them well.
