was actually 14-5, and didn't last ...
TBU really poured it on in the 2nd half.
- DelVecchio besting DiJulius at 133 was a surprise
- Ashnault would have gotten a big challenge against Logie Bear, but instead faced Sal Marandiono, who he TFed
- Hunter Stieber being out meant that Theobold faced Randall Languis, who he defeated 11-5
- Perrotti besting Demas, 8-5, at 157 was also a surprise
So Rutgers lead 14-5 at intermission. After that, things were much different.
- at 165, BoJo TFed Nic Visicaro
- at 174, Nick Martin got a decision over Philip Bakackas, 8-2
- at 184, Kenny Courts TFed Taylor Jackson, giving TBU the lead for the 1st time since after the 133 match, when they lead 5-3
- at 197, Kyle Snyder TFed Hayden Hrymack
- at 285, Billy Smith got a decision over Ray Gordon, 5-2 (not sure why Tavanello wasn't in the lineup), but even if he had pinned Gordon, TBU would have won the match.
The final was TBU 23, Rutgers 17
