Away Game question

i have never attended an away game. Next season I would like to drive out to a game and do the full tailgate experience as well as alumni party on Friday night. Now on to the questions...

Is there a PSU Friday night event for every away game? From experience what is the best away game experience, town, tailgate, fans and stadium?
