B1G Championship Game Thread — OSU vs Wisky

Wisky keeps dodging bullets. Barrett should have had at least two sure TD passes on this drive.

Barrett missing two wide open receivers twice on that last drive. All day to throw.

Wiscy is no top 10 team let alone cfp team. I respect the heck out of their program and such but they don’t have the athletes to compete with the very best.

How was JT so accurate against us? Tonight no pressure on him and he's missing wide open receivers. The Wisky defense is looking tired already. Not looking good for Bucky.

He just suffered an injury last game. It is amazing that he is out there.

Wis killed their drives twice with 2 time outs, one resulted in an INT. , and didn't they study our game film when we were on the 5 yard line, you're not running on that D. BTW any comments on their run blocking, you have to stretch OSU not punch them in the mouth.

Wisconsin is going to get killed. no push and having to turn into a passing team. what is more amazing is that the Wisky DEF was supposed to be the best in the conference.

Wasn't that the same story last year until we played them?

And they are s l o w
Their D has always been a little slow. Very physical and slow. Just ask Saeed Blacknall. They looked like they were wearing cement boots as he bolted to the end zone last year. I gave them the benefit of the doubt this year and was calling for the contrarian Wiscy victory. A long way to go, but if tOSU choked this one away I'd be stunned.

Wisky DEF and OFF having more trouble with tOSU than PSU did, and we played them in CBus. Wisky having real trouble on both sides. had we not lost Bates and Bucholtz we would have comfortably won in CBus. Wisky is supposed to have the best DEF in BIG and they are saying they have the top TE.

Might also explain hornibrooks completion % and all Talylor’s yardage.

It certainly looks that way (at least so far).

The big ten needs to address the lopsided divisions (that were put in place simply to appease Michigan and Ohio St).

Why? I want Ohio State and Michigan on our resume every year. Plus, geography makes sense long term.

With Nebraska finally getting a real football coach again, they will be an animal in three years. Be careful what you wish for.

Yup, unreal their defense of conference champs as an ultimate to get in. Last year...... ^^^^^^+1

If Wisky scores on this drive, we have a game. Even though they have gotten burned a couple of times, Wisky is playing a great Joe Paterno game of field position.

Who do you put over there? Michigan? They lost to this Wisconsin team. Only difference is, they probably don't lose to us and Sparty. You know any split division would require "the game" be protected. A 10-2 Wolverines only papers the West as being better. Do we really want that?

True they beat Michigan this year. Most years that would be a tossup game and at least add some competitive edge to the West.

Right now the West is Wisconsin. That’s it. Maybe Nebraska returns to respectability some day (but let’s face it it’s been 20 years already). If they do that leaves the West with Nebraska and Wisconsin. The East still has Ohio St, Penn St, Michigan, and Michigan State.

That leaves the East with a gauntlet you have to run (often back to back) while the West has maybe 1 game that could be a challenge all year.

Is Frost going to learn how to coach defense? He certainly doesn't have any now.
