School has started all across America and requests for shoes from financially challenged middle schools are coming in. Just this week we were contacted by 2 schools in Pennsylvania and one each in Oklahoma and Florida. The need is so great that we are only able to send 10 pairs per school. On the short term we need to raise $1,500 to fulfill the needs in hand. A couple of good friends have recently made generous donations, but we still need more help.

The need is so great that we limit our donations to 10 pairs per school. We have a request from a Pennsylvania school that far exceeds that number. If any of you would like to "adopt" Holiday Area Middle School, $350 would provide another 10 pairs (we buy very frugally) and $700 would fill their entire request. The gift would be made to them in your name. Thanks.

Perhaps you could mount a campaign where BWI "Adopts" Holiday Area Middle School. I would set aside your donations until we hit our first target ($350), buy and send the shoes and then do the same for the next 10 pairs. What do you think?
