Barkley better then Henry per Malik McDowell of MSU

Pretty high praise for Saquon. He has shown amazing talent but let's get a full season in before he is placed ahead of a Heisman winner. I do think Henry benefits from paying behind the best OL in the nation.

It's nice to say, but sounds like sour grapes. Henry is a beast and had 2 TD against them.

Henry will be the better pro eventually. He is huge.

Not so fast. Henry will certainly play on Sundays, but his advantages of size and having superstar teammates all around him will be gone in the NFL. I think Barkley has some 'swerve', that will still be with him at the next level. Of the two, I'd give Barkley the better upside.

After getting beat like that, kid should just STFU.
Barkley is a fantastic player and talent but to say something like that after getting whipped 38-0 makes you wonder if lost some brain power from getting steamrolled by Bama.

Barkley has a ton to prove still before we can say he will be a "Great" NFL Player.. I think compared to college, most NFL Teams are full of super stars. Most of the NFL players were good college players.

I'm not saying that Barkley has proven more than Henry, McCaffery, Elliot, Cook, or Fournette... Obviously, these guys are studs and have had multiple great seasons. I'm just saying that the running style that Henry has, similar to Ingrim I think, is not as spectacular when all DLs are 300 lbs and all LBs run and hit like freight trains. There is no guarantee, but I'm saying that Barkley's style translates to a higher upside. That being said, I'm not an NFL GM and am a devout Nittany Lion fan. Maybe I'm wrong...

Barkley behind the Alabama line would have threatened 2000 yards as a true fr. He is that good and already an upper echelon back in college.

He probably should have just kept his moith shut but he didn't say anything negative about Henry. He was complimentary of Coker and was just giving his assessment of Henry. Barkley had more success running against the Spartans then Henry. All things being equal (receivers, QB, line), it would not surprise me if McDowell would honestry rather face Henry then Barkley.
