I remember the board experts telling us Barkly should be happy with his contract with the Giants and Daniel Jones was a good QB.

His contract was good and Jones wasn't the problem. And we'll see that next yeae with Jones. He earned this. Not sure why you're still confused by it. When they were both healthy they made the playoffs and won a playoff game.
Not sure Giants fan and of course they should beat them. Both are gone. Jones was overpaid as are most QBs but when both were healthy, which was rare, they were productive. Just needed to build the OL through the draft. Letting Barkley go was a mistake. So was how they handled Jones.
See, the Giants were right, you don’t pay $30 million to a QB to hand off to a $12 million RB…you pay him to handoff to a $20 million RB. Good for Saquon.
I would expect Saquon’s endorsement money to greatly increase as well. He fell off significantly after being featured in advertising his first few years in the leak. But I’d expect him to be in a good number of commercials in the next few years now.
Yes, please. No more Mahomes, the goofy State Farm guy and Bundlerooski. I haven’t seen one since the Super Bowl fortunately
Saying his contract was good is laughable. He just won a superbowl and doubled his money. He's a generational talent and is finally being recognized for it. He was stuck in quick sand in New York with a bad GM, a terrible QB and poor supporting cast.
Speaking of quicksand... just learned that unlike all the movies where the actor disappears under quicksand, human's actually cannot drown in quicksand because people are less dense!!!!
I know a few that are pretty dense and would sink like a rock!
And that's why Joe Schoen is a terrible GM. Championship teams not only are talented, but have great leaders and a championship culture. He saw Barkley as any Running back that he can just replace with any other back, not the Generational Talent, Leader, and the team first / championship culture he brings.

Congrats to Saquon. A generational talent and great human being.
And they don’t get to the Super Bowl without him and they don’t win it without him if they did. The contract reflects this.
I learned something today. Which is something I can rarely say when visiting this board.
