So, the general consensus seems to be we play really good defense most of the time, but our offense sucks. And if our offense was as good as our defense, we’d be fine. And I’d agree that, to the eye, watching the games, that looks to be true.
So then, why is it we rank near the bottom of the conference in most every defensive measure? If we were holding teams to a lower point total, but just not outscoring them, I’d say OK. If we were holding teams to a low shooting percentage, but just not outscoring them, I’d say OK. But that’s not what I’m seeing here.
Someone please tell me what I’m not understanding. Or are we just not as good on defense as we think?
