Beaver Stadium Parking Question

I read a lot of posts here but don't post often and find the board a great source of information.

I recently upgraded my NLC membership to the level that makes me eligible for two numbered reserved parking spots. I am middle of the pack point-wise, in the 600 range. I called the NLC to tell them my parking lot preferences for this year, 1 - under the north end zone, pink (which is now part of green per the 2015 parking map) and 2 - east of the stadium (purple).

I called in February and the woman at the NLC told me that she would let me know what was available once non-renewers' spots were released but about after 5 weeks of her saying her data set wasn't ready please call back next week, I gave up. She did take my preferences: 1) pink, 2) purple.

Given that they reshuffled what was north end zone pink parking to green (they noted pink and purple in my account) and the fact that she kept stringing me out, I am preparing myself for a disappointment once the passes arrive.

My question to the board is, what was your experience like in trying to get a numbered reserved spot in a particular location? What did you have to do to get the spot you wanted? (I know some people just go with the flow and park in a number reserved sport they are assigned and don't really care.) I was hoping to get in a lot close to some friends, but I have a feeling that I am just going get two spots that are available once they rank order me (which I am not against, I was just trying to give a preference and try to get somewhat close).

I've been in pink ever since my part of the lot was opened to the public. It's paved where I am with lots of RVs. Pink is a good option if you want to be close and it's not very congested since there is very little thru traffic with pedestrians. In looking at the parking map it seems the westernmost part of pink may have been yellow last year. I may be wrong about that. It's grass so if all those spaces are new for the reserved parkers you could wind up there but there would be people walking through. It would be a much easier walk to the stadium as opposed to being way out behind Medlar Field.

I think you probably will be rank ordered unless you request to park beside a specific person in which case you would be rank ordered according to the person with the lower point total. Good luck.
