How many of you recall how strange the 2020 DNC Primary was? 2016 was bad enough when only Hillary (and Bernie Sanders) were running for the highest office in the land (along with three guys most people have never heard of to make it seem like an actual contest).
But, in 2020 things really got weird (for a reason).
The first primary was the Iowa Caucus. Biden was losing so badly that they basically stopped counting and blamed it on computer glitches. He finished a distant 4th behind Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, and Elizabeth Warren. Not a good showing for "the most popular presidential candidate in history".
Then we moved on to the New Hampshire Primary. Biden did even worse, finishing behind Bernie Sanders, Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar (Biden got less than half the votes she got) and Elizabeth Warren. Again, not a good showing for "the most popular presidential candidate in history".
After another bad showing in Nevada, the fix was finally in! The media assured us that Biden would start winning as soon as they got to South Carolina, which... WAIT FOR IT... had just gotten all-new voting equipment. South Carolinians would, in fact, be the first to try these brand new machines. And.. surprise surprise... Biden was declared the winner in EVERY county in SC. It was unanimous. A miracle.
Buttigieg, Klobuchar and Tom Steyer immediately dropped out of the race (didn't both Buttigieg and Klobuchar crush Biden in the first two races earlier that very same month?) and every other challenger dropped out a week later except Bernie and Tulsi Gabbard, neither of whom has any future in Democrat politics. Clearly they all got the message, it was going to be Biden no matter what.
We are being played, y'all.
