Through 3 quarters, not overly impressed with Martin so far as a RB and the 50th player in high school football. Tries to take most everything wide, runs out of bounds, haven't really seen him make a defender miss, and really not super electric of a RB. A very good RB, but I'm hoping he gets to PSU and changes his mind about being a RB and then becomes an AA Safety or LB.......... Obviously a great athlete who will continue to fill out and get faster as well. JMO from maybe 10-12 carries. He hasn't gotten to return a punt or KO to this point.
21-0 Belle Vernon. Penn-Township has been a comidy of errors - dropped passes, fumbles when not even hit, and a poor throw that BV ran back for an easy INT/TD.
Midway thru the 4th, 14 carries for 84 yards and a TD for Martin. He looks pretty good as a CB, and picked off a 4th down pass with 5 min to go. Then Martin got a couple carries in garbage time to get to 100+.
