FRL 144. Includes a surprising debate on Nolf's PFP value. Can you include the list or a link?

I'd take Nolf over Dean every day and twice on Saturday night.
Meh, was the far more impressive wrestler all last yearA kid who hasn't quite won his first title over a two-time champ? Slow your roll, Bro.
Dean also made a junior world team. 84 was also a much deeper weight last year then 57. Will be this year also. Not taking anything away from Nolf, he's amazing. Dean just has a better resume.A kid who hasn't quite won his first title over a two-time champ? Slow your roll, Bro.
Not taking issue with your argument but Zain's closest match last year was against BJ Clagon, who he beat 2-1. Clagon is a good wrestler but there's no reason to think that match was anything but an outlier.Nitpicking.....
But, I would have Retherford over iMar.
iMar is very dominant and has two titles. But, he had two opponents last year that he won very close contests. He was 2-1 vs Nolf, including getting pinned. His two wins were a double OT win on criteria, and a nip-and-tuck first-takedown-wins match.
He was 1-0 vs Ian Miller, needing overtime to beat him.. and very nearly losing that match in regulation.
Retherford destroyed all his opponents. His "closest" match was a 4-0 victory in the B1G championship vs Sorenson. 100% of those watching can testify that the 4-0 score was not indicative of the utter domination.
And I am an tOSU grad, so I really dont have a PSU bias for Retherford... just think he should be ranked higher than iMar. And, if it wasnt for J'den Cox's freestyle world accolades, I would have Retherford above him as well.
What I see is one guy who will finish 3-1-1-1, and the other will go 2-1-1-1, negligible difference. One beat Ruth, other beat Martinez, again not a huge difference (though Nolf was dominating before the fall).A kid who hasn't quite won his first title over a two-time champ? Slow your roll, Bro.

And, again, if we're counting freestyle accomplishments, third place in the Olympic trials ought to count for something.
Yeah, that would help, right? Sorry, lol

It's at about the 10min mark
1) Snyder
2) Cox
3) IMar
4) Retherford
5) Dean
6) Nolf
I see both sides of the argument, though my personal opinion was Zain in a close vote. That said, he did win the NCAA's Most Dominant Wrestler Award, and helped his team win the National Championship. Knowing Zain, not winning OW isn't a big deal at all.I never saw this topic mentioned on this forum, but I think Retherford was shortchanged in the selection of OW in the NCAA tournament. Snyder got the award primarily because his match with Gwiz was considered the premier match of the tournament. (which is clearly the case) However, Retherford totally dominated his weight class. Nobody came even close to him, and his "most competitive" match was a 10-1 MD over Sorenson in the finals.

When else have they wrestled?Clagon always wrestled Zain tough.
My bad, I was thinking of Edgar Bright. When else have they wrestled?
Zain was at bucknell the other day for legend practice. Obviously, the future is unknown so anything can happen, but here on 9/27/16 I dont see him having another Clagon match.
fruits are in fear of him everywhere!
