First off I would just like to say IMO there should be an 8 team playoff. This would settle many problems, plus make things more fair. We would then see for sure if certain teams like Baylor & TCU for example, could hang with the big boys from other divisions.
Do you think an undefeated Baylor or TCU should be voted as one of the top 4 playoff teams over a one loss SEC team, if this was the end of the year, and they played there entire schedule? As of right now, if it were the end of the season I would say no and go with a one loss SEC team.
I just think the SEC is that much better than the Big 12 right now. Plus the fact that the Big 12 does not have a championship game, hurts them really bad. After Baylor and TCU were probably furious after seeing they did not crack the top 4 for the playoffs, they have there selves too blame.
This argument/debate has been going on for a few years now. If they want respect, schedule a good team from another power five conference and have a championship game already.
But to the original question, would you vote an undefeated Baylor or TCU in, over a one loss SEC team.
